The holiday season is here and Apple & Tart Cherry Pie is on the top of our list. We love it served warm, with an extra plant-based protein boost from Apple & Tart Cherry Superfood Clusters + some dairy-free vanilla ice cream!

Serves 8
8 large apples
1 cup old fashioned rolled oats
½ cup dried cherries
1 cup chopped nuts of your choice
2 tablespoon chilled butter, sliced
2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 cup water
1/2 cup of Apple & Tart Cherry Superfood Clusters
Dairy-free yogurt (optional)

Preheat oven to 350°F
Wash and core the apples, scraping the bottom of the core out with a spoon. Make sure you don’t put a hole in the bottom of the apple.

In a large bowl combine the 1 cup rolled oats, 1 cup nuts, 1/2 cup dried cherries, 2 tablespoons butter, 2 teaspoons cinnamon, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and 1/3 cup of water. Mix together carefully, pressing the butter into the oats until it becomes sticky.
Place the apples in a baking dish and pour the remaining water into the pan.
Spoon the filling into the apples to the top and cover the pan with foil.
Bake for approximately one hour, or until fork-tender.
Serve warm and top with Apple & Tart Cherry SNACK and dairy-free yogurt if desired.
